Highland Station, previously Russ Wilson’s, is an Ethanol free gas station which we have added onto to offer high quality organic espresso drinks and locally roasted, fair trade coffee as well as fast healthy togo food and seasonal farmers markets.
We are located in beautiful and biodiverse Madison Co, NC in the Southern Appalachian mountains.
Come by and fill up your Harley with high grade ethanol free gas, raise your efficiency with strong coffee, and get some fresh air and good food before hitting the French Broad rapids or soaking in a tub at HotSprings.

Hyper local
We have a focus on hyper local products and quality while maintaining a working class joint with affordable pricing.
All our coffee drinks are made with local Mills River Creamery A2 cream top milk, Notorious Roasters fair trade coffee, and we offer space for local farmers to distribute and sell their products while at the same time being a hub for healthy food access.
We hire all local folks, pay a livable wage, and resolve issues through whiskey induced dialog. Seems to work pretty well so far.
